Q:   How can I tell if an item is available for rental?

A:    Select the date in question on the Quick View Screen calendar. The orders that are Confirmed (or invoiced) show up in the upper center column of the orders listed. The orders that are Non-Confirmed (or proposed) are listed in the lower section of the center column of the Quick View Screen. The items that are available are on the right. Any item that is listed in green is rented out some time in that day. If the item is green and has a quantity shown, that quantity shown is the available amount for the whole day. In the lower left, there are Items leaving / returning and if the item is listed there you can drop the items down and see what time the items are leaving and returning.


Q:   How do I make orders show up in red until paperwork is completed?

A:    To flag orders, go to Administrative Options -> Additional Setup Items and the Paperwork Items section. Enter in items that you want to have listed on orders when they are created. An example would be ?Contract Signed? and then choose to use in Confirmed and/or Non-Confirmed orders. Then, each time a new order is added the Paperwork Items will be added to the new orders and until the Completed checkbox is selected on the order(s) the order(s) will show up in red and a ?To Do? will show on the right of the Paperwork item(s) until they are completed. You can setup as many Paperwork items as needed.


Q:   Is there a way to quickly search through orders and / or items?

A:    Yes, by right-clicking on the Orders or Rental Items list, a drop down menu will appear with a ?Search? option. You can then do a free text search through Rental Items or Orders and quickly find what you are looking for.


Q:   Can the phone numbers or address information be viewed without having to leave the Quick View Screen

A:    Yes, by selecting an order and then right-clicking on that order, choose ?View Address/Contact Info? and the Event Address, Site Contact Phone and Main Contact / Phone will show in a pop-up box.
